Learning about installations through study and drawing.
  1.  Design of new facilities for rehabilitation.
  2.  Redrawing the installations of an existing building taken as a case study.

device design

For the rehabilitation of a winery in a village in Castilla La-Mancha, a versatile piece was designed for water collection. This piece serves as a roof and gutter, downspout and channel to a biofilter. Reinforced ceramic is proposed as a material, as a solution to solve the functions due to its lightness and rigidity. The repetition of the element facilitates its installation, since its placement consists of superimposing the elements and fixing them in the same way as a normal roof tile.

existing case study

The panel shows the study of the Cabeza de Moro block of apartments by Manuel de las Casas, in Talavera de la Reina. The planimetry shows all the entrails and layers of the building: structure, materiality, floor slabs, water collection and installations. It also shows the construction detail at different scales, from the complete drawing in all its floors from the basement to the roof and also the detail of the enclosure and the section of the window.
